Who We Are?
Our Mission
The Friends of Mallow Hospital ( Charities Registered Number 50029555 ) supports Mallow General Hospital through the purchase of necessary hospital equipment,
that would not otheruise be provided by the HSE because of it's budgetary constraints.
- Here is an outline of such equipment purchased, by the Friends, through generous donations, at the cost of €250,000 over the past ten years:
- An echocardiogram machine which enables imaging of the heart.
- A portable echocardiogram machine.
- Investment in Hospital Sleep Laboratory equipment.
- Essential equipment for laparoscopic ( keyhole ) surgery.
- Purchase of an Argo Plasma Coagulation machine to support the Endoscopy Dept. of the Hospital.
